Celtic Otherworld Book 17
Books 18, 20 and 21 are more or less complete. Book 21, “Geena and the Prince” is probably the end of the Celtic Otherworld series.
Writing is progressing on book 17 of the series, the penultimate to be written.
Various titles were tried such as “Watching the Watchers” and “Elaine and Luke”, but #17 in the series might be called “Macha and Hy Brasil”. The Macha of the title is Macha of Dunceath in Magh Meall, first met in “Tom Óg and the Firebirds” and hinted at in “Jewels and Rooks”, not any of the well known Celtic people called Macha.
Years earlier Donald MacPherson had been rescued by two young women in a snowstorm on the Fells in the Lake District. He’s got an obsession to find them. Something had made him restless and he decides to visit the Fortune Teller’s Tent at the Ballycarry Fair. Get your fortune told by Madame Elaine.
Who are Macha, Luke and Elaine?
The cover is based on plate 26 of The Wind’s Tale by Edmund Dulac for Stories from Andersen.
